Job Description
Location: Sunrise, Florida
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate and use multiple shipping applications to support company ECommerce platform.
  • Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack and stage products while using a forklift, pallet jack or other power equipment.
  • Perform other duties that do not involve any material handling equipment (MHE) within the distribution center.
  • Safely and efficiently operate one or all MHE equipment types which include but are not limited to, order selector, forklift, reach truck, and electric pallet jack (EPJ).
  • Ensure product and or tote is properly labeled.
  • Assist with physical inventories and other inventory-related items.
  • Follow all distribution center standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Maintain proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safe lifting techniques.
  • Complete all other tasks assigned by managers.
  • Select product accurately and damage free, while operating material handling equipment (MHE).
  • Select product in an efficient manner while meeting appropriate productivity expectations and standards.
  • Obtain internal MHE certification for powered equipment within the first fifteen days on the job.
  • Ensure work area remains clean and safe, while following all safety practices.
Experience, Education, Certifications
  • MHE Experience (required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 6+ months of warehouse experience preferred.
Competencies
  • Perform all duties safely.
  • Able to work > 8hours.
  • Work in a team environment
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays.
  • Ability to work successfully under pressure while meeting deadlines.
  • Results oriented with the ability to accomplish goals.
  • Well organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
