Join our dynamic multi-vendor commerce start-up as a Data Engineering Specialist and help us build the data infrastructure that powers our innovative e-commerce platform. If you're a data enthusiast with a knack for designing robust data pipelines, we want you on our team.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to deliver actionable insights.
  • Stay updated with the latest data engineering technologies and best practices.
  • Extract, transform, and load data from various sources to create a unified and accessible data repository.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and business objectives.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval for efficient data analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through data validation, cleansing, and error handling.


Requirements:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex data structures.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering.
  • Proficiency in data engineering tools and languages such as SQL, Python, and Apache Spark.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, HBase) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of data engineering projects.
