Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity available for a Data Analytics – Business Analyst to work a REMOTE schedule on a 12-month contract to hire basis.

This position is remote but prefers Central time zone or Eastern time zone candidates.

The Data Analytics business analyst will be responsible for defining and documenting product requirements for our Data and Analytic product(s). The potential candidate will work closely with the Data Analytic Product Owner to ensure user stories are prepared for the engineering teams, participate in backlog grooming, and the writing of acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities of the Data Analytics – Business Analyst:

• You will have healthcare domain mastery, demonstrate domain mastery in sprint reviews, and serve as the point of contact that interacts with the scrum teams and accepts or rejects work products from engineering.
• Your day-to-day work will focus on writing requirements for MIPS Value Pathways with a focus on our Quality Clinical Data Registry and Analytic products collaborating closely with the Data Analytics Product Owner and the Value Based Care Product Owner.
• You will collaborate closely with an agile team that includes product owners, other business analysts, project managers, a scrum master, designers, developers, and a quality assurance team.
• You will have an ownership mindset with the ability to make analytical, logical decisions that improve the quality of requirements and products.
• You will serve as product owner proxy and can work within a fast-paced agile environment with industry-leading design and engineering teams.
• You will author detailed stories and requirements for agile engineering teams. You will be responsible for documenting requirements that are clear, buildable, orthogonal, testable, and based on detailed designs.
• As the Data Analytics Business Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding the business functions of the product, especially emerging Value-Based care programs.

Requirements of the Data Analytics – Business Analyst:

• Atlassian Tool experience (Jira, Confluence)
• Ability to work collaboratively across technology and stakeholder teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Requirement writing experience in an Agile team.
• Value Based Care experience.
