- Independently solves issues that arise related to quality documentation, lead times, sourcing, planning production and vendor communication
- Acts as first line of defense in solving customer support requests, and coordinating and prioritizing timely resolutions with engineering teams.
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Acts as primary Project Manager and point of contact for all tasks related to key accounts, both internally and externally. This includes ensuring timely movement of products, having proper communication to appropriate channels and ensuring customer's expectations are met.
- Becomes a Subject Matter Expert over time.
- Acts as a liaison between our customers and internal departments including Product Management, Sales, and Customer Support. In addition to the customer and vendors in the Supply Chain
- Drives, manages, monitors and reports on timely delivery of program results
- Accountable for setup of systems and documentation to allow for a smooth handoff for other departments to contribute to the project
- Independently manages the supply chain components and logistics of finished products to ensure long-term availability and timely delivery.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and 3 years of related experience and/or training; OR a minimum of 6 years relevant experience in lieu of a 4-year degree; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Medical industry knowledge, desired
- Proven track record of managing customer escalations, balancing customer expectations, and negotiating successful resolutions
- Technical Skills (Electronic Hardware) required to successfully solve problems with vendors
- Experience working with international clients is a plus
- Proven experience with vendor/customer communication
- Knowledge and/or experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or ISO 13485)
- Project Management and/or Account Management experience required.
