Job Description
Customer Support Representative

Training Hours:
9a-5:30p EST
Production Hours: 24/7
Schedule: Full Time & Part Time Shifts are available between the hours of
8a-4:30p EST; 9a-5:30p EST; 10a-6:30p EST
Location: Work from home

About The Customer Support Representative Position:
The Customer Support Representative will be responsible for ensuring the customer’s needs are met via inbound calls. The rep will provide exceptional service to existing customers through service-related transactions, including processing transactions.

What a typical day looks like:
Candidates will be scheduling rides to doctor appointments. Agents will be calling for process resolution and escalation. They will be handling escalations from case managers, case coordinators and member advocates.

Responsibilities:
  • Exercise control of the call
  • Exercise conscious control of the time spent on activities to increase effectiveness, efficiencies
  • Be a problem solver: identify what is being asked, if there is no solution what can we do later?
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills; articulation, grammar, and business writing
  • Have a positive, cheerful outlook and be optimistic
  • Strong Communicator
  • Be able to problem solve by identifying client needs/want/problem
  • Proactively look for opportunities for rescheduling, restoring confidence
  • Connect with people, build relationships, and create a strong network
  • Have self confidence that instills sureness in knowledge of the plan benefits and limits
  • Be able to effectively communicate to customer by phone and at times via email

Qualifications:
  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Must have an ethernet cord, a high-quality headset with microphone and a quiet workspace
  • Must have your own computer/laptop
  • Comfortable using PC platforms including Microsoft Office
  • Must be at least 18
  • Must be able to pass a speed test for high-speed internet
  • Must have HS diploma or GED
  • Reliable and conscientious
  • Flexible team player with ability to execute duties efficiently
  • Strong communication skills: verbal, and written communication
  • Ability to work alone with minimal assistance
  • Ability to type 25 wpm or greater
  • Good organizational skills and work habits
  • Confidence to ensure the stillness of the plan
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
