Job Description
Overview


The Customer Education Trainer is responsible for delivering and providing assistance in developing training and educational solutions for districts and schools. This professional is self-motivated, quick to learn, articulates themselves well in front of a group of people, is capable of working independently with little instruction, provides feedback to peers, has problem solving skills, and strives to make professional development a success for the customer. Additionally, this professional will work with other teams, directly with customers and across multiple products while being mindful for new and more efficient processes.


Responsibilities

  • Maintains a high level of knowledge and proficiency on company products, including new product releases and enhancements, by working individually, reading available documentation, and interacting with cross-functional peers
  • Meets and/or exceeds utilization and customer satisfaction goals
  • Performs administrative tasks for tracking training progress
  • Conducts onsite, remote, and group training events via traditional classroom and technology-assisted platforms
  • Organizes and manages the professional learning life cycle and training plan for clients
  • Shares best practices, product knowledge and effective training and delivery methods
  • Reports customer issues and risks and assists in timely escalation and resolution within and outside of Customer Education and the Services department
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of procedures and processes, including documenting and reviewing, with a focus on increasing efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction
  • Performs all other responsibilities assigned by management
  • Applies product knowledge and learning delivery methodology to provide high quality professional development services
  • Provides feedback, advises and contributes to the design, development and maintenance of training programs


Qualifications


To be considered for and to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.


Qualifications Include


  • Knowledge of PowerSchool Solutions and how used in K-12 Education (PowerSchool SIS, PowerScheduler and PowerSchool SIS Customizations)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a training or teaching environment
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, operating in a demanding work environment
  • Knowledge of various web meeting/conferencing software tools
  • Ability to develop creative solutions for client needs and company goals
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SalesForce/FinancialForce
  • Create and deliver outstanding customer experiences and adapt/respond to different types of clients with ease

  • Work autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to travel for client and staff training events on average 30% - 60% of the time
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; highly motivated and flexible
  • Work well independently and in a team environment across multiple locations
  • Ability to learn quickly, understand and explain educational and technical information
  • Strong training skills, including exceptional communication and presentation ability
  • High-level performance with attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $62,000-$80,000. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
