Customer Claims Representative - Entry Level

Process claims for various contract price and promotional trade agreements for Dart distributors and end users.

Day-to-Day Role:

• Identify, research, resolve, and communicate issues related to assigned claims
• Provide high quality customer service by responding to inquiries relating to contract pricing rebates and promotional trade claims
• Assist with various requests (e.g., product purchase analysis, contract price sales history, etc.)
• Process customer contract claims, end user claims, and rebate adjustments using appropriate software
• Maintain Dart Competitive Price Agreement (CPA) rebate log

Core Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

• Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities
• Six (6) months of experience in the customer service field
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Microsoft Excel skills to include the ability to create basic spreadsheets, open, close, edit, (e.g., cut, paste, insert and delete rows) and save spreadsheets
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to stay focused and engaged in a work environment that is open and active
• Ability to exhibit creativity and flexibility when solving complex problems
• Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related information to internal and external customers
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision
• Able to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects and priorities
• Math skills to include simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and decimals

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• SAP and/or Vistex knowledge
• Six (6) months of data entry experience
