Contributes to business goals, performance metrics, and effectively uses tools & technology.

Other activities/projects as assigned including the preparation and distribution of computer reports.

Ensure and conclude claims in compliance with state/federal regulations and requirements, provisions of policy contracts, case law, and company standards

Determine proper coverage, establish, and maintain proper reserves, draft professional written correspondence regarding various aspects of the claim

Conduct detailed phone investigations to determine liability and/or damages, obtain recorded statements, review police reports, and provide thorough follow-up

Determine suitable method of inspection, assign estimates, and proper vendors

Negotiate loss settlements based upon the review of facts

Sets up and enters new claims into claims management system.

Inputs and reviews notes/diaries in claims management system as instructed.

Able to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects and priorities

Math skills to include simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and decimals

Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related information to internal and external customers

Provide high quality customer service by responding to inquiries relating to contract pricing rebates and promotional trade claims
