Our Claims Representative (Glass & Roadside) role may be a new career for you, but the journey is mapped out. There’s a lot to learn. Our comprehensive, fully paid training program including class discussions, hands-on training, e-learning modules, and the instructor led guidance will help you support our membership independently.
Our in-office development program provides the training and encouragement you need to build a proactive and independent support style to service our membership.
We are currently seeking dedicated professionals for future opportunities in 2023 who desire a full-time schedule.
Training Schedule: Full schedule availability is needed Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm ONSITE.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm CST ONSITE
What you'll do:
- Identifies and manages existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role.
- Ensures risks associated with business activities are optimally identified, measured, supervised, and controlled.
- Crafts auto and property loss reports, states, or verifies coverage as appropriate and initiates the most effective method of damage assessment.
- Explains the claims process and responds to caller concerns.
- Follows written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures for business activities.
- May adjust and conclude low complexity first party auto physical damage claims.
- For sophisticated losses, escalates the loss report to the appropriate area for handling.
- May analyze information to establish validity of claim and settlement value.
What you have:
- Successful completion of a job-related assessment may be required.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Up to 1 year of customer service/sales experience
What sets you apart:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Insurance Designation
- Active Adjuster license
- US Military Service or Military Spouse

What we offer:
Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $45,010 - $64,310.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
