Job Description

The Culture Manager role at Sunbelt Solomon reports directly to the VP of HR supporting both a US and Canadian based workforce. Up to 50% travel may be required for this role. The Culture Manager is responsible for creating and driving an integrated culture and engagement strategy. This strategy should align and engage team members to Sunbelt Solomon’s vision and overall business strategy.


  • Integrating culture behaviors into performance reviews
  • Work with Talent Management to update hiring practices to drive engagement.
  • Facilitate action planning for engagement surveys results with the managers.
  • Follow up work from sessions – train the trainer with Aiir
  • Manage values branding at all locations, update all necessary documentation in the organization.
  • Identify necessary differences by location to create the biggest impact.
  • Provide recommendations to VP on Culture strategy.
  • Implement suggestions from Aiir Culture Consultants
  • Manage the ACHIEVE reward program.
  • Provide opportunities for celebrating.
  • Identify influencers – formal/informal leaders to advocate culture.
  • Manage participation/engagement on skill builds.
  • Create committee – defining activities – longer term integration.
  • Understand local markets and be up to date on current trends as it relates to culture and engagement.



Requirements:

  • Excellent facilitation skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the HR or Business field, equivalent experience will be considered
  • Proven leadership, independence of thought / action, and the ability to analyze complex problems from multiple perspectives will be critical to the success of the selected candidate.
  • The ability to turn complex and sometimes technical information into engaging content.
  • Previous experience of planning and delivering communication plans, campaigns and projects.
  • The capacity and desire to partner closely with Executive Leadership is critical. Must be able to manage multiple priorities, produce excellent work results, and follow through on commitments. A sense of urgency is required.
  • 5 years progressive experience operating in a Culture & Engagement role required
