DCI is seeking a Culture and People Generalist in Kent, WA to join our small and dynamic team! You will collaborate with employees and managers by helping work through performance improvement, employee development, resolving issues and organizing resources. This role will function as a true HR generalist with a strong interest in working and learning across all areas of HR process; and will take the lead with managing our talent acquisition program. What You'll Do
Talent Acquisition:
  • Support compensation activities through an annual compensation review cycle
  • Manage employee files for compliance
  • Lead post job offer process for prospective employees and ensure great HR onboarding and orientation experience for new employees
  • Develop content for employee newsletters and other company announcements
  • Facilitate the search for functional areas by understanding functional hiring needs, position specifications and search requirements.
  • Participate in developing and delivering employee development and training initiatives (GoSkills and LinkedIn Learning)
  • Design, develop, and implement local sourcing strategies to attract quality candidates that reflect the local community demographics and build a long-term community of prospective candidates.
  • Direct sourcing/screening for positions as determined by the business needs while complying with organization policy
  • Partner with managers in functional business areas, presenting best qualified candidates that meet job requirements.
  • Source, screen, interview and recommend candidates for open positions at entry level to senior level positions.
  • Work collaboratively with ownership, management, payroll, accounting, legal and all external partners to reach solutions on people and process issues
  • Oversee and manage our Applicant Tracking System (Workable) to continuously optimize processes for efficiency
  • Listen, help problem solve, and coach employees and managers working through employee relations issues and performance coaching
  • Partner with team to develop employer branding initiatives

Requirements
Who you are:
  • Able to engage with employees in all areas of the organization and build credibility while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Problem solving skills and resourceful in identifying options and solutions
  • Capability to expand HR capability and grow with the company
  • 2-3 years of HR generalist/HR coordination experience with 1-2 years of that in recruitment
  • Great attention to detail with accurate data entry, analysis and reporting. Good grasp of technology to build efficient reporting and make solutions easier for employees.
  • Uncompromising integrity
  • Great customer service responsiveness: demonstrates initiative to anticipate customer needs and makes recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Strong sense of urgency to meet commitments, follow up and results focused
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment law, hiring practices, basic benefits and compensation administration.

Compensation:
  • Profit sharing bonus: Over the last 3 years, quarterly bonuses ranged between 12% and 27%. Future bonuses could be higher or lower depending on company profits.
  • DCI is proud to offer comprehensive compensation packages including competitive base pay and discretionary quarterly profit sharing bonuses to all part-time and full-time team members. Base pay is reviewed at a minimum on an annual basis.
  • Pay range: $65,100 – $81,500 per year. To ensure equity, our compensation philosophy is to bring[KP1] people into new roles in the range of the mid-point of that role. Factors considered for pay include the level of skill, experience, training, external market factors, and internal value.

Hybrid Work Schedule:
This position offers a hybrid work schedule. Individuals must work onsite at the Kent office a minimum of 3 days per week.
