The commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth can not be underestimated. We aim to bring discovery, inspiration, and joy back to shopping by making TikTok the commerce channel of choice for merchants, creators, and affiliates.
About the Role:
As a Creator Acquisition Manager within our Creator Brands team, you will play a key part in the acquisition of new TikTok Shop creators. The Creator Brands team supports celebrities and top creators who have their own brands or customized product lines to sell on TikTok.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development plans to drive TikTok Shop growth and awareness
- Pitch merchant and creator partners; actively develop and grow a strong lead pipeline
- Identify growth opportunities and patterns to prioritize high-priority leads and improve business performance
- Build and maintain close relationships with brand, agency and creator partners
- Develop go-to-market, growth, and campaign strategies for new clients
- Own cross-functional collaboration with relevant internal personnel including product and key account teams
- Develop and improve TikTok Shop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure effective and efficient business operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in e-commerce business; a mixed experience in both platform side and brand/merchant side is highly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, strong presentation and sales foundations
- Ability to thrive in a rapid, agile, and often ambiguous environment with a growth mindset
- Attention to detail, process-orientated, affinity for analytics, logical and strong problem solving skills
- Familiarity with TikTok and other content platforms; experience in content-based e-commerce (brand and/or platform-side) is highly preferred
- Strong network and connections with creators, brands, agencies and/or retailers is a plus
- Passion for TikTok and eCommerce, eager to exceed challenging goals while building something truly unique to the market
Specialized Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, and account management
- Experience in GTM, growth, and campaign strategies in the ecommerce industry
- Familiarity with the Tik Tok ecosystem and other emerging social media platforms
- Experience in influencer management and e-commerce
- Strong marketing skills, including campaign management and event planning
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to develop and maintain SOPs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Ability to think critically and identify growth opportunities and patterns.
- 2 years experience of top creator partnership management; a mixed experience in social media platform side, brand side, and creator agency side is highly preferred

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $91200 - $192533 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
