  4. Access to Resources: Access to basic equipment (e.g., smartphone, basic camera) for story creation.
  5. Passion for Cultural Preservation: A deep commitment to preserving and promoting your community’s cultural heritage.
  6. Communication Skills: Effective communication abilities to convey the cultural significance of your stories.

Application Process:

We will only review applications from candidates who can describe their relationship with one or more of the following communities: Manenguba, Bakossi, Kwe, Balondo, Bafaw-Balong, Bassossi, Nso, Kom, Aghem, Weh, Babanki, Oku, Bum, Meta', Widikum, Ngie, Menka, Bangwa, Fut, Ngemba, Mbili-Mbui, or Wimbum.

Interested candidates should include the following in their cover letter:

  1. A brief introduction highlighting your cultural background and specifying your relationship to any of the communities listed above.
  2. A brief explanation of your passion for cultural preservation and your interest in representing your people through multimedia stories.
  3. Examples of your story creation work (if available).

We welcome individuals who are deeply connected to their cultural roots, have unparalleled access to their people and places, and are eager to share intimate stories of the beauty and diversity of their heritage with the world.
