Position Summary
The MBCS Influencer and Talent Content team is responsible for harnessing the authority and reach of talent and influencers to create engaging and effective marketing programs for UM, Initiative, and Reprise clients. The team is engaged in every step of the process:
- Flawless execution & reporting
- Talent outreach, negotiation, and trafficking of contracts
- Creative briefing & ideation
- Strategically identifying & recommending talent
MBCS is looking to hire a Coordinator who is in-the-know on all-things social media, follows creators obsessively across those platforms, and is passionate about influencer marketing. As Coordinator, you will be exposed to all of the process steps listed above and run point on specific assigned projects. You should have at least 1-2 years relevant experience in a professional environment, and your work style should entail impeccable attention to detail and planning, strong organization and communication skills, and a fast-paced approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Vet talent based on channel and audience data – leveraging internal software
- Leverage agency tools and software to discover growing content categories, new talent and other trends that may be relevant to client/s
- Soft-vet talent for availability & interest, present campaign offers, negotiate and contract talent
- Review talent to ensure channel and content are brand-relevant and brand-safe, there are no competitive issues, and any other criteria provided by client
- Support team in executing all aspects of the talent’s campaign, from managing timelines, to content production and approval needs, to launching on time
- Partner with team to respond to talent marketing requests and creative briefs with custom presentations and strategies
- Stay up to date on talent/influencer marketing category trends and insights, and surface to agency team members and client/s on an ongoing basis (may include tailoring presentation decks to include stats, trends and insights)
- Liaise and communicate effectively with client and internal agency partners at all times, as well as talent + their management/production teams
- Develop rationales/dossiers to support talent’s alignment to the client
- Research and discover talent, ranging from influencer tier to public personalities to celebrities, that are of interest to our clients – particularly a luxury automotive client
- Coordinate all aspects of talent needs for campaign shoots or events, such as travel arrangements, glam, b-roll and on-site content approval.
- Partner with team to provide campaign wrap-up report with insights and recommendations
Desired Skills & Experience
- Strong work ethic, ability to meet deadlines, complete tasks and initiatives
- Impeccable attention to detail and planning
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and using influencer data platforms
- Knowledge of influencer/content campaign measurement
- Resourceful; great analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced media-centric corporate environment
- Excellent communicator who can work effectively with partners at all levels
- BA/BS degree preferred
- At least two years professional experience with at least one of them working in a relevant influencer / talent environment

We also offer a competitive Total Compensation package, including a competitive salary and eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award or a relevant incentive award.
The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
