Location: Tampa, FL
Salary: 80K - 95K
The Controller shall be responsible for assisting the President with the management of overall financial operations of FRAMEWORK GROUP, LLC and will work with the President to provide accurate information including analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and preparing financial reports. The Controller will aid the President in directing and managing the company's accounting functions, including establishing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures, preparing financial statements and reporting to top management and externally.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage internal controls with respect to financial policies, processes, and procedures.
• Manage and oversee all State contracts and amendments, including billings and compliance.
• Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for preparing monthly financial statements and external reporting to financial institutions and other constituents, ensuring all reporting requirements are met.
• Manage accounting operations, including reviewing journal entries, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and statutory reporting.
• Manage the month-end close process, maintaining reconciliation schedules regularly.
• Support new systems or project selections and implement them from strategic finance and internal control perspective.
• Other duties as assigned by the President

Qualifications:

• Experience overseeing audits performed by external audit firms.
• Knowledge of state/federal contracts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, NetSuite (preferred), and other accounting software.
• Experience and detailed knowledge of government contracts preferred, including Uniform Guidance and Uniform Financial Report (UFR) compliance requirements.
• Experience in the nonprofit industry is preferred.
• Public and Private accounting experience preferable.
• Financial analysis, budgeting, and some strategic planning experience.
• Proficient communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• A minimum of 7 years of general accounting experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and applications. Budget preparation and analysis techniques.
• Must hold CPA License
• Experience and working knowledge of HUD programs.
