This position is open to applicants or individuals who are located in or willing to move to AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, MD, NV, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, UT.


The Role:

This is a 6 month contract role with the potential to for internal dependent upon business needs.


The Contract Talent Partner sits within the Talent Acquisition Team and partners closely with all business lines within Cart.com daily.


The Contract Talent Partner owns the successful development and execution of hiring strategies. Through this work, we find and hire quality and diverse talent across all Cart.com teams. You ensure fair and equitable hiring practices are being maintained and work diligently to hold all interviewers accountable for the process.


What You’ll Do:

  • Recruit high volume requisitions utilizing multiple resources ensuring an aggressive recruitment process while supporting company objectives.
  • Advise leaders on hiring best practices, processes, market trends, talent funnels, pipelines and areas of risk or concerns.
  • Analyze candidate qualifications by interviewing applicants, evaluating responses, comparing qualifications to job descriptions and requirements.
  • Research, network and attend training to uphold your subject matter expertise within recruitment and hiring and within your teams you support.
  • Source candidates by utilizing networking, ATS system and passive candidate searches.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with hiring managers and business leaders to ensure complete understanding of department hiring needs and successful recruitment efforts.
  • Determine and create process improvements as needed
  • Partner with Talent Specialists to champion candidate experience and help to identify areas of risk or needed improvement.
  • Manage the internal database system (Workday) maintaining high priority candidates as well as priority job openings.
  • Maintain a strong relationship between the Human Resources Department and department managers to effectively place candidates.

What You’ve Done:

  • You have strategically built sourcing efforts from scratch
  • 5+ years of end to end recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment including prioritizing and managing multiple searches at once
  • In a recruiter role you have partnered with various business leaders and stakeholders to effectively and efficiently hire quality talent.
  • You have advised/consulted with all levels of leadership on fair and equitable hiring practices and recruitment and market trends.
  • You have effectively held your internal stakeholders and partners accountable to the recruitment process.


Nice to Haves:

  • Previous recruitment experience within Fulfilment, supply chain and/or logistics
