As Continuous Improvement Leader, this person identifies, analyzes and presents solutions for complex business problems using DMAIC methodology. Coaches and mentors in the use of DMAIC methodology at all levels of the Americas. Assists in development of action plans throughout the business and establishes control plans for implemented projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Provide positive client delivery experience. Owns the process to include engaging internal resources to accomplish final deliverable. Responsible for all details of the process as well as final end state outcome. This includes managing expectation of stakeholders and ensuring information is effective, managing any third party involvement, coordinating outside resources timely identification of issues for escalation.
  • Assists In Troubleshooting and drives quick hit projects across the business for USK, regions or districts at the request of leadership teams.
  • Creates data models to analyze current state and future implication on business to support leadership teams.
  • Creates and leads virtual teams SWAT team of local KONE employees to resolve complex problems using DMAIC. Coaches and mentors local teams to present findings and leadership teams.
  • Drives KPIs to the business to create data driven model. Under the direction of the PMO and installation director establishes KPI's to dashboard the success of Installation business.
  • Subject Matter Expert for DMAIC. Drives Understanding of tool use in the early stages of DMAIC culture implementation. Demonstrates use of DMAIC methodology and drives understanding of proper Lean, and Six Sigma tools. Teaches, trains, and demonstrates to illustrate the usefulness of the process.
  • Implements Standards for Measurement in Project Management Office (PMO). Participates in all PMO led process projects to establish KPI's and other measurement tools for independent verification of success.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience working in a Matrixed organization a plus.
  • Advanced training and understanding in DMAIC, Design for Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Power BI, Power Automate and Tableau experience, at least 2 preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university or equivalent experience may be substituted for degree.
  • Proven success record of hands-on Lean Six Sigma experience.
  • Experience in teaching, coaching, and mentoring Lean Six Sigma activities in a multinational company.
  • Black Belt Certification from ATMI or other leading Six Sigma company recognized by the International Society of Six Sigma.
  • Experience in the building industry preferred.
