Current Situation:


An exceptional opportunity awaits a visionary Continuous Improvement Leader to lead our global client’s Continuous Improvement division in France through an exciting period of transformation and organisational growth.


As Continuous Improvement Leader, you will play a pivotal role in helping our client accelerate its journey towards commercial and operational Excellence. In this role, you will:


  • You will also be responsible for identifying areas of potential process improvements and work with Departmental Leaders to realize them, e.g., with the help of Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Daily & Visual Management, Standard Work, Problem Solving, Waste mapping, and transactional process improvement.
  • Provide leadership, role-modelling, coaching, and support to all levels of the organization to support the company’s Lean transformation and build a Continuous Improvement culture and mindset (Client’s Business Excellence System).


Desired Background:


  • Must have prior experience in running a region or lean program
  • Minimum. 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role and demonstrated track record of implementation success in non-manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Toyota Production System or company with similar system
  • Experience from Consulting, retail, B2B and B2C environment


Responsibilities:


  • Continuously challenge processes and procedures to identify process wastes, bottlenecks and other constraints and define action plans to eliminate them, particularly in their shops
  • Deploy our client’s methods and tools consistent with global standards incl.; Daily / Visual Mgmt. Problem-Solving, Standard Work, Leadership Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping
  • Identify, prepare, lead Kaizen, ensuring effective sustainment.
  • Identify and develop functional and process best practices, standardize and implement them with the business.
  • Elevate commercial capabilities by supporting the improvement, deployment and sustainment of key processes such as Lead Generation, Customer Journey, In-store Capacity, Value based Pricing etc.
  • Proactively lead problem-solving on growth shortfalls and transactional issues to find root causes and define countermeasures.
  • Collaborate with the global community to develop and deliver training and create new standards and procedures.
  • Provide regular reports highlighting programs and accomplishments.
  • Help to establish a Continuous Improvement culture by acting as a coach and mentor and providing ongoing education to all teams.
