Position Summary

The Continuous Improvement Engineer will focus on implementing continuous improvement/Lean Six Sigma ideologies in our food manufacturing plants. Using knowledge of engineering methodologies, tools, and data analysis this position will interface with employees at all levels and various functions across the business and within our multiple facilities. The goal of this position is to ultimately demonstrate maximum efficiency, while continuously assessing critical processes, systems and implementing programs that will have long-term benefits

What will you do as the Continuous Improvement Engineer:

• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Industrial Engineering and Lean Six Sigma tools to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
• Directly provide formal and informal Lean training and capability building
• Apply standard and advanced test engineering techniques, procedures, and skill sets to bring new products to production with quality and ensure production goals can be grasped
• Improve manufacturing organization by analyzing workflow, space requirements and equipment layout with the goal of cost-reduction, quality improvement and efficiency.
• Identify cost savings through research or product requirements, manufacturing methods and equipment modifications.

Who qualifies for the Continuous Improvement Engineer position:

• High degree of analysis, problem solving, and creativity
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of statistical methods and process improvement techniques.
• Effective verbal and written skills - comfortable presenting to a group
• 5+ years of plant experience in technical or management roles
• Must have Microsoft Office experience with advanced Excel Skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• Italian speaking and writing a plus
• Daily activity may include, but is not limited to reading, lifting, communicating, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting

What hours will you work as the Continuous Improvement Engineer:

• 1st Shift (5:00am-1:30pm)
• Monday-Friday

How much will you earn as the Continuous Improvement Engineer:

• $100K-$130K (DOE)
• Bonus up to 10%
