Job Description
Responsibilities:
Every day, our 17,000 employees "Do the Can't Be Done", solving the most daunting challenges facing our customers. Peraton's Defense Mission and Global Health Sector seeks an experienced Continual Service Improvement Manager for the DHA Enterprise IT Servcies Integrator Program located in the San Antonio, Texas area. This is a key personnel role and subject to Government approval based on the evaluation of qualifications. This position is located in San Antonio, Texas.

This role will serve as part of the operations team helping to modernize and sustain the Defense Health Agency’s IT infrastructure to provide a standardized, robust, and highly available global infrastructure and enterprise core services. The Continual Improvement Manager will help plan the transition of 360+ military treatment facilities into Service Provider roles, assisting with the adoption of this complex organizational change. They will drive Continual Improvement activities in the enterprise environment across all the Integrated Service Providers and manages the Integration effort for the Continual Improvement practice and includes aligning the Integrator’s practices with the derived and expected value to the Military Health System

Responsibilities:
  • Optimize the overall operation of the ecosystem services, managed service providers, and processes to create and increase value for the customer
  • Manage and guide the program team to meet ongoing information needs regarding process improvement methodology
  • Ensure projects are integrated with other business activities, improvement projects, and the business strategy
  • Resolve/monitor customer escalations as appropriate
  • Manage the transition and design of the SIAM organization to an operational state, including any required staffing, processes, and strategic direction
  • Establish and manage relationships with customer subject matter experts and appropriate customer management, with an objective of maintaining and building the business
  • Manage teams with well-defined scope, including directing daily work activities/priorities, people recruitment and development, cost management, and direction-setting within the area of responsibility.
  • Engage with the customer at the enterprise level to strategically align new capabilities and services
  • Identify opportunities, define and financially justify projects, manage project activities, track project status and results
  • Produce programmatic deliverables (e.g., monthly status/progress reports)
  • Manage team and individual performance
  • Support the organizational change initiatives required to transition the customers operations to the commercial-based SIAM ecosystem model
  • Apply understanding of DoD program and risk management practices
  • Understand the Military Health care business and the impact of the ecosystem on its ability to succeed
  • Work collaboratively in a complex environment and driving performance achievement and improvements
  • Directly support the Program Manager and Deputy to ensure that all SIAM programmatic level responsibilities (e. g., staffing, programmatic deliverables, monthly reporting, ad hoc requests, etc.) are completed in a timely, accurate, and quality manner
  • Apply a data-driven mindset of service excellence and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 years’ relevant work experience and leadership in a continual service integration role
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management processes and toolsets such as ServiceNow and Remedy
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in performance data analysis of ITIL processes
  • Exceptional ability to communicate across communities with exceptional written and oral communications skills, including executive-level presentations
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance (ADP II Public Trust)
  • Bachelor’s degree 12-15, MS 10-13. Phd 10+ 16-19 years in a business or technical field of study or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience leading teams in a matrixed management structure and personnel management
Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with MSI operations and how service delivery interacts
  • ITIL 4 certification (e.g., ITIL 4 Foundation Certified, Advanced ITIL 4)
  • PMI PMP
  • Experience in the Military Health environment
  • Leader in IT Project Management implementation and delivery
