We're looking for a Content Designer to collaborate closely with Product Management, Design, Marketing, Product Operations, Community Management, Engineering, and Localization team members to write articles for TikTok and Effect House. Through clear, expressive writing, you'll transform product features and technical and legal concepts into articles that are engaging, easy to understand, and optimized for the web to drive organic traffic. You'll also contribute to content strategy and planning, and have an understanding of the customer journey and how content marketing supports business goals.
Responsibilities
- Write and own the quality of long-form website content such as blog posts, articles, and FAQs
- Collaborate closely with product managers, product designers, community managers, engineers, product ops, and localization to set a high bar for overall user experience
- Manage and prioritize projects with multiple stakeholders across China and the US
- Drive process improvements to optimize collaboration
- Lead content audits to identify opportunities and drive consistency across the product
- Contribute to our content standards and be a champion for best practices
- Collaborate with, influence, and drive consensus with stakeholders and their feedback
- Synthesize internal and external feedback to improve content clarity and quality
- Complete high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in digital writing for websites
- Experience with SEO
- Experience in content strategy and planning
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product teams
- Entrepreneurial attitude, ability to deal with rapid changes and situations that are not ideal
- Self-starter who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and stay focused when faced with changing requirements
- Writing portfolio including, but not limited to: feature articles, blog posts, landing page copy, product launch content, editorial calendar, technical documentation, email newsletters, style guides or glossary additions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $83093 - $190422 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
