Job Description
The Opportunity


GR0 seeks an Editor with a track record of delivering factually correct, grammatically perfect, and if applicable, FTC and FDA-compliant SEO articles.


The Editor edits SEO articles for branding, voice, grammar, and SEO.


In the business role, this role also reviews all content to ensure compliance with basic liability verbiage to ensure that advice is not being given to readers in the realms of investing, finance, law, taxes, and other sensitive, high-risk topics.


This role requires a meticulous, ever-curious, highly communicative learner with an academic and career background in English, publishing, or journalism, or for the business role, an academic and career background in business, business management, marketing, or entrepreneurship.


What you'll do:


  • For the health role, review and edit SEO articles for compliance with DSHEA regulations, FDA marketing regulations, and other regulations from governing bodies, such as the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC)
  • Work directly with clients on a regular basis through video calls, instant messaging, email, and more to ensure satisfaction with deliverables and timely deliverable management
  • Delegate tasks to Assistant Editors and Content Writers, who assist the Content Department with outlines, optimizations, and other projects
  • Edit SEO articles for: AP Style Grammar, punctuation, case, and spelling. Brand voice, tone, and word choice. GR0’s specific formatting, keyword, and linking requirements
  • Work closely with writers to provide client and tone information, including communicating feedback as needed and answering questions promptly
  • Manage the content deliverable timeline for multiple clients simultaneously from submission to publication
  • Work closely with Campaign Managers to ensure content deliverables meet client expectations, attend virtual Kickoff Calls to connect with new clients, and attend occasional client check-in calls.
What you'll bring:


  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Editor, Copy Editor, or Proofreader
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • For the health role, a Bachelor of Science in a Biological Sciences-related field.; and a minimum 2 years of experience editing in the health, wellness, supplements, and/or beauty space under FDA marketing regulations, if applicable.
  • For the business role, a Bachelor of Art or Science in Business, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or other B2B-related field
  • For the standard role, a Bachelor of Art or Science in an English, literature, or journalism-related field
  • The ability to autonomously create, manage, and meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals

  • Stage 5 (Co-Founders Connect) - The last conversation of the interview process is always a chance for you to connect with our CEO and Co-Founder, Kevin Miller, and our Chief Growth Officer and Co-Founder, Jon Zacharias
  • Stage 1 (Recruiter Screen) - After you submit your application, our talent recruitment team will review and reach out to candidates. During this 30-minute video call, we’ll discuss your career journey and professional motivators while learning about GR0 overall and the Content Editor opportunity
