Job Overview The UI/Web Designer creates amazing user experience by translating high-level requirements into interaction flows and beautiful, intuitive, and functional graphic user interface (GUI). Maintains and provides ongoing design of the website, web & mobile applications, email marketing, ad banners, and social media content. Duties Create website, web & mobile application, email marketing, ad banners, and social media content designs from concept to production Collaborate with Management and Design team to concept and execute marketing plans Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex designs Work within a team environment to understand end-user needs and develop practical solutions Collaborate with the Development team to maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product's interface Quality assurance of web applications prior to deployment Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and design software Establish and promote design guidelines and usability best practices Work within the framework of the company's defined policies, procedures, goals and directives. Any other duties required of this position Minimum Qualifications Proven UI experience Proficient in: Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom OmniGraffle or other visual design and wire-framing tools Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS 2-3 years of experience designing web and mobile applications Creative with ability to think outside the box Ability to work independently and be a team player High attention to detail Good analytical & problem solving skills Good communication skills Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process Bedrosians is an Equal Opportunity Employer that promotes, for the health of its employees, a Drug-Free Workplace philosophy.
