About Construction Management—Leeding Builders Group (LBG)

Leeding Builders Group (LBG) is a New York-based construction manager specializing in open shop commercial, residential and hospitality projects. Founded on a reputation of professionalism and quality, with the financial backing of AECOM, we are one of New York City's premier builders.

As a separately branded entity of the AECOM Construction Management group, LBG operates independently with its own management structures and resources.

AECOM Leeding Builders Group is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator for our ongoing exciting projects in New York, New York.

• Performs duties with some complexity under general supervision.
• Understands the URS EC Division costing structure (overheads, G&A, insurance, etc.)
• Develops detailed material take-offs for estimate development and field procurement of bulk materials.
• Prepares bid packages, conceptual estimates and analysis of subcontractor bids, etc. for projects.
• Expected to assist in the preparation of larger and more complex estimating assignments including the Estimate Plan.
• Reads and interprets drawings and specifications.
• Develops wage rate build-ups.
• Develops cash flow schedules and estimates.
• Technical Skills
• Works with the Company estimating systems and processes.
• Recognizes how various processes/project actions and assumptions may impact the project estimates and begin to assist in quantifying the impact.
• Applies estimating terminology, measures, concepts and principles.

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS and 4 years of related construction estimating experience or AA/AS and 6 years of relevant experience or HS/GED + 8 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Requirements:

• College curriculum in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Experience with exterior facades highly preferred.
• Experience working for a large GC in an Estimating capacity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Experience in the construction industry in the vertical construction industry.
• Offered rate of compensation (New York City only) will be based on individual education, qualification, experience and work location. The salary range for the position is $$87,778.70 - $162,390.59 annually (exempt).
• Project experience to include high rise residential and/or hospitality.

• This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.
• This position is located in New York City, NY and is not hybrid or remote.
• This position does not include relocation benefits.
