Construction Assistant Drafter Jobs

Busy mechanical construction company looking for experienced and motivated individual for Assistant Mechanical Drafter position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year, Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities And Duties

Assist Drafting Dept in various duties such as data entry, labelling, organizing, etc.

Review and utilize contract documents and drawings to prepare 3D construction layout drawings using Revit MEP.

Make small changes or adjustments, As-Builts, per project requirements.

Visit job sites as necessary to verify measurements, work, equipment, and field conditions.

Track multiple project schedules, provide drafting status, and be able to meet deadlines.

Report and track daily progress.

Qualifications

Must be detail oriented and have strong attention to details.

Must have working knowledge using Revit MEP and AutoCAD MEP.

Must have background in Mechanical Engineering.

Ability to work in a multi-task environment.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Must demonstrate basic experience and knowledge of Revit MEP and AutoCAD MEP with 3D layouts

Must have reliable transportation to be able to travel to jobsite locations for field verification & coordination meetings.

Experience with public construction agencies such as NYCSCA, DDC, NYCHA, DASNY, MTA is a PLUS.
