Architectural Drafter Jobs

Description

This position is an opportunity to develop new skills and advance your career. This successful candidate must be proficient in REVIT and AutoCAD. The candidate must have direct experience in the preparation of architectural & engineering construction documents, be able to work on and setup central files for multidiscipline (architecture, mechanical, electrical & plumbing) design projects, and be able to work closely and communicate with architecture and engineering staff, consultants, sales representatives and clients.

Responsibilities

• Operate Computer-Aided Design (CAD) system to create technical drawings for building construction
• Visit buildings and job sites to document (hand sketch) existing conditions
• Print out construction drawings for review, markup and distribution
• Prepare accurate and complete drawings using AutoCAD and/or REVIT from sketches or notes after visiting job sites
• Create and modify REVIT & AutoCAD models for design projects

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience using REVIT
• Proficient in REVIT & AutoCAD
• Associates or Bachelors degree in Architecture (BArch), Drafting Technology or related field
