Adecco Search has partnered with a global manufacturing client to hire a Certification Compliance Coordinator in Nashville, TN!
The Certification Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating certification process for assigned products from start to finish.
They will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication, coordinate scheduling, and ensure all requirements are met to obtain the necessary product certifications.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Staying up to date with regulations and/or industry requirements and communicating changes with the organization.
- Submitting applications for permits, licenses, certificates, authorizations, and other approvals required for the organization.
- Identifying and assessing applicable standards and regulations for product(s).
- Working with internal and external parties to coordinate product testing processes and ensuring the product meets performance and safety requirements.
- Managing all documentation and records related to product certifications, audits, trademarks, and regulatory compliance.
- Conducting audits and assessing compliance with safety and engineering standards.
- Overseeing the certification timeline, tracking progress and deadlines, and ensuring all functions are completed within the required timeframe.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience managing certification processes, certification audits, and working with certification bodies/agencies.
- Familiarity with regulatory bodies such as DOE, FTC, NRCan, AHRI, SCAQMD, and other state/federal agencies.
- Understanding of compliance regulations and standards within the manufacturing industry, UL standards, CSA standards
- 4+ years of related work experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry
