Responsibilities
- Assist in office management and organization procedures
- Assist in making travel arrangements and booking venues for conferences and events
- Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues
- Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
- Take minutes of meetings and dictations
- Proven experience as an Office manager, Front office manager or Administrative assistant
- Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
- Familiarity with email scheduling tools, like Email Scheduler and Boomerang
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experienced with corporate event planning
- Must be comfortable communicating with people at all levels of an organization around the country
- 5 years of experience in an administrative role; preferably within biotech, biopharma or startup
- Must be highly skilled in Microsoft Suite
- Must have experience supporting 2+ executives in an administrative capacity
- $30 - $37.78 /hour Pay Rate
