Credit And Collections Manager

At CONMED, the Credit Manager is an integral part of our Corporate Treasury team located in Utica, NY. The Credit Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Credit and Collection Specialists in multiple locations and will collaborate with cross functional teams. The Credit Manager will have the ability to develop and implement policies and procedures, and will manage the activities of global credit approval and collection, make recommendations on credit limits and handle special credit arrangements.

Additional Responsibilities Include

• Oversee analysis of accounts receivable, aging of accounts to determine overdue accounts, and collection procedures
• Evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting financial statements for the purpose of determining credit
• Coach and direct a team of over 10 Credit and Collection Specialists

Requirements Include

• Experience working in a fast paced, high volume organization
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and highly detail orientated
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
• 7+ years of experience in management of credit and collections function and proven history in managing a large department

0-20% Travel

Disclosure as required by law, the annual salary range for this position is $70,000 - $148,000. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level. The salary range is CONMED’s good faith belief at the time of this posting
