Collection Superintendent Jobs

Summary Objective

The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and manage all operational aspects of the utility wastewater distribution system while implementing preventative maintenance programs and standard operating procedures.

This class works independently, under limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings.

Minimum Education And Experience Requirements

Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent supplemented by specialized courses/training equivalent to completion of one year of college.

Requires six years of progressively responsible experience in the operation and maintenance of water and sewer systems and facilities or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Special Certifications And Licenses

Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Driver's license

Wastewater Collection Certification (B), Required

Water Distribution License (B), Preferred

Backflow Prevention License, Preferred
