We are looking for an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent with expertise in managing large commercial and industrial construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site leadership and coordination throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. As a Traveling Construction Superintendent, you will oversee multiple projects across different locations, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Site Management and Coordination:

• Provide on-site leadership and supervision to construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to establish project goals, timelines, and specifications.
• Coordinate and schedule construction activities, equipment, and materials to maintain efficient project progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.

Project Planning and Execution:

• Ensure adherence to local regulations, building codes, and safety guidelines.
• Assist in the development of project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures to maintain schedule and quality.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate project execution based on approved plans and specifications.

Quality Control and Safety Compliance:

• Conduct safety meetings and training sessions to ensure all workers are aware of and adhere to safety protocols.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on-site, adhering to company safety policies and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve quality-related issues promptly.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Team Management and Communication:

• Resolve conflicts and address any issues that arise during project execution.
• Manage subcontractor relationships, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Supervise and motivate construction teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Project Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders.
• Document and communicate project risks, delays, and mitigation strategies to project management.
• Prepare regular project status reports and present them to project stakeholders as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, overseeing large commercial and industrial projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
• Ability to travel extensively and work at different project locations as required.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to operate a company vehicle.

Salary: Assistant Supers at $85k - $100k, Supers $100k - $115k, and Senior level $115k+
