Cloud Environment Architect+Devops

MS Azure Cloud Environment Architect + DevOps.

A minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a MS Azure Cloud Architect, who takes the lead in establishing the framework of the project and guides developers to flesh out the web content and functionalities in accordance with the requirements. Works with WMATA IT to coordinate necessary integration points or required back-end updates to support the new website.

Performs independent high-level design of enterprise cloud application systems. Establishes the basic structure of the system, defines essential core design features and elements that provide the framework. Works closely with systems users in the identification and resolution of user problems and concerns for complex projects. Performs cost-benefit analyses to determine whether requirements are best met by manual, software, or hardware functions; making maximum use of commercial off-the-shelf or already developed components. Generates a set of acceptance test requirements for complex systems, together with the designers, test engineers, and the user to determine that all the high-level requirements have been met, especially for the computer-human-interface. May participate in business development activities.Considered an emerging authority, who applies extensive technical expertise. Develops technical solutions to complex problems. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.

Minimum of five (9) years of directly relevant experience in establishing cloud environments for web applications, while delivering using the Agile software delivery method. Specific technical acumen in the following:

·Cloud environment provisioning

·CI/CD pipeline set up and deployment

·Experience with Applications on K8/RHOS on MS Azure Cloud

Experience working on an Agile project team.
