Cloud Engineer (Devops / Mlops) - Part-Time (Usa)

This is a part-time role suitable for senior cloud architects and developers who would like to spend a few hours every week in an exciting cloud platform development project. Ideally someone who has developed a cloud platform (PaaS) from scratch with focus on AI/ML tools.

Qubrid is at the forefront of Digital Transformation. We are currently looking for aCloud Architect and Developerfor our GPU Cloud offerings. MLOps experience is highly desired as our GPU cloud is used for AI/ML applications. You will be an expert in Kubernetes, Docker and other automation tools.

You'll work with our Founder and off-shore cloud team. We prefer the candidate to be located in the Washington DC Metro Area including Virginia (Fairfax and other Northern VA areas) and Maryland. However remote candidates with exceptional backgrounds will be considered. An exciting role for someone with background and deep expertise in Cloud Computing, IaaS, SaaS, GPU and AI, Deep Learning.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop IaaS/PaaS cloud architecture and roadmap
• Code as required - this is a hands-on role
• Develop MLOPS flows to simplify deployment and training of AI/ML models
• Develop software and hardware requirements
• Features range from one-touch VM deployment and multi cloud integrations to billing/charging mechanisms
• Manage overall cloud development plan

• Front-end UI development skills
• Gets excited by new and emerging technology
• 3+ years experience
• Able to guide young cloud team
• AI/ML experience will be preferred including programming skills (CUDA, Python, TensorFlow, Keras etc), hardware experience valuable as well
• Expertise in automation tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, MLFlow etc (MLOPS experience)
• Senior Cloud architect and developer with experience in AWS cloud services. Other cloud provider knowledge is required i.e. Azure, Google GCP, Oracle
