About the Clinical Product Specialist at Headspace Health:
We’re looking for a Clinical Product Specialist to join our growing Science team and help Headspace Health deliver on our vision of a world where everyone is kind to their mind, by transforming mental healthcare to improve the health and happiness of the world.
The Clinical Product Specialist will have the unique opportunity to be the clinical subject matter expert and lead the clinical content and product development to deliver member-facing products and services. You will drive the design and improvement over time of specific clinical programs and optimize their clinical effectiveness. In this key role, you will work with external and internal subject matter experts, product managers, designers, engineers, copywriters and business stakeholders to develop new virtually-delivered programs. You will leverage your formal education and subject matter expertise in the provision of psychotherapy and evidence- based interventions, to develop best in class Member Experiences that deliver engaging and delightful evidence-based interventions.
You enjoy working in a highly collaborative, delivery-focused team environment where you bring expertise in translating evidence-based approaches into digital technologies and virtual services. You are comfortable integrating complex clinical concepts to create new, research-backed treatment protocols as well as writing accessible, engaging content for a wide audience supported by strong visual design. You have a deep knowledge of evidence-based behavior change methodologies and clinical psychology approaches, and deep experience in co-creating digital products with excellent user experience. You want to be a core member of a passionate, driven cross-functional team transforming evidence-based treatments into effective, engaging digital products and services at a company that values helping people to live happier and healthier lives.
This is an excellent position for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. You’ll work with talented individuals within the Science team, as well as across other functions, and leverage your publication and applied research skills.
How your skills and passion will come to life at Headspace Health:
- Ensure clinical product development is evidence-based and clinical content reflects clinical best practice while also keeping the user journey front of mind
- Own end-to-end intervention design for target populations and diagnostic areas. Integrate academic expertise and evidence-based clinical methodologies into compelling, engaging, accessible, bite-sized content
- Serve as a key contributing member of the growing Clinical Product team. Share and learn from other Science team members to maximize efficiency in intervention design, create a scalable suite of products, as well as supporting one another in this exciting and new endeavor.
- Collaborate and partner with colleagues from Design, Research, Product, Content, and Care Services (among others)
- Serve as clinical subject matter expert co-creating digital product design, ensuring clinical quality and effectiveness of our suite of digital and blended offerings
- Translate expert-developed content into engaging, accessible content for a larger, mass audience with varying education and other demographic variables
What you’ve accomplished:
- Experience in the development of digital tech-enabled applications
- Proficient knowledge of a variety of research methods to evaluate clinical outcomes, including RCTs and RWE studies.
- Experience providing care within a multidisciplinary Mental Health setting (i.e. collaborative care models)
- Demonstrated record of leading interdisciplinary projects from beginning to end.
- Previous experience working in highly collaborative teams, as a subject matter expert alongside other subject matter experts of different disciplines.
- Strong scientific writing and statistical skills.
- Holds a Masters Degree or Ph.D. with an emphasis in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Health Psychology, or other Mental Health fields of study that focus on embedding principles of clinical science into care provision.
Other Skills and Qualities:
- Experience using GSuite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Self-starter, comfort with ambiguity
- Superior writing, communication, project management, and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Pay & Benefits:
The base salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skills and scope required, relevant licensure and certifications, and unique relevant experience and job-related skills. The base salary range for this role is $96,411-$133,903.
