Job Title: Clinical Coordinator

About Organization: *Wellness Together, a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, partners with schools statewide to increase access to mental health services for students and families. By collaborating with universities and graduate programs, Wellness Together provides cost-effective "turn-key" social-emotional interventions on school campuses across California.
We are committed to developing school-based mental health practices that go beyond traditional medical care and provide much needed social-emotional support at no cost to the student or their family. We advance school-based health by:

Advocating for state and national policies that support school-based mental health services
- Providing training to staff as well as the community on mental health
- Hosting the annual Student Mental Wellness Conference which partners with the CA Department of Education
- Cultivating new and existing partnerships to spread best practices and improve school-based mental health

Summary of Position:*
Under the administrative direction of the Clinical Director and Clinical Manager, the Clinical Coordinator provides clinical supervision support to school-based Mental Health Clinicians and HearYou.org Counselors and has administrative duties including documentation review, minor consent consultation, completion of external documentation requests, consultation on clinical cases, clinical supervision, clinical documentation review, clinical trainings, clinical consultation for supervisees managing clients in crisis, and other duties as assigned. The Clinical Coordinator collaborates with program management and the clinical team to ensure supervisees follow company protocols and policies when supporting clients in a crisis. The Clinical Coordinator offers group and/or triadic supervision to pre-licensed staff as needed, and supports with supervision, consultation calls, or office hours in the evenings. The Clinical Coordinator will follow documentation standards and share on-call supervision duties on some Saturdays. The Clinical Coordinator has exceptional care to managing clients in crisis, following and advising supervisees on best practices, and is well experienced in legal and ethical issues related to the work of a mental health clinician and clinical supervisor in California. The Clinical Coordinator has a positive, encouraging attitude to training and mentoring supervisees and supporting company culture.

Responsibilities:*
- Maintains organized and thorough documentation of counseling records and clinical supervision records.
- Demonstrates an organized and structured approach to reviewing client files and providing feedback to supervisees in a warm and direct manner.
- Collaborates with the Clinical Director, Clinical Manager and Clinical Supervision team as needed.
- Demonstrates mindfulness of company resources when creating supervision schedules and assignments to maximize resources and time.
- Provides excellent clinical supervision that includes a review of relevant research, development of clinical skills, BBS updates, school-based therapy interventions and company curriculum.
- Experience with chart review and utilization review.
- Supports the development of schedules that allow trainees and associates to receive their supervision needs by taking into account company resources.
- Adheres to weekly supervision schedules and limits time off during the school year.
- Demonstrates follow through on assigned tasks and projects, works independently and brings concerns to leadership.
- Provides on-call hours for both Wellness Together & HearYou.org counselor support.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
- Ensures the supervisee’s compliance with laws and regulations governing the practice of marriage and family therapy, clinical social work, or professional clinical counseling.
- Represents Wellness Together professionally when engaging with staff, university partners or district partners.
- Promotes a positive work environment, employee morale and implements strategies to build employee satisfaction, connection and retention.
- Participates in all required meetings.
- Reviews supervisees’ client documentation, progress notes and other client records and supports the program manager and clinical team in training or improvement plans for supervisees when needed.
- Willingness to support Conference activities including learning new roles and responsibilities.
- Uses a comprehensive understanding of industry standards in documentation and mental health care to provide feedback, review, and training toward best practices in documentation and client care.
- Assists program managers in training and supporting supervisees in their engagement with company policies, relationships in school setting, job performance.
- Adjusts supervision schedules during school breaks to accommodate clinical needs as determined.

Knowledge of:*
- Proficiency with GoogleSuite and Zoom required.
- Knowledge of school-based therapy, public education policy, and FERPA desired.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy required.
- Excellent interpersonal and team management skills required.

Education and Experience:*
- 2+ years of experience in practice management and/or clinical supervision preferred.
- Experience providing Clinical Supervision preferred.
- Experience providing school based clinical supervision preferred.
- Experience working in an evolving organization.
- Experience being on-call with crisis calls and crisis intervention preferred.
- Proof of completion of BBS-required Supervision Training and ongoing required Clinical Supervisor CEUs.
- For at least 2 of the past 5 years immediately preceding supervision, the supervisor has practiced psychotherapy or provided direct clinical supervision of psychotherapy performed by marriage and family therapist trainees, associate marriage and family therapists (AMFTs), associate professional clinical counselors (APCCs), or associate clinical social workers (ASWs).
- Possesses a license in good standing under California BBS as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC, with a minimum 2 years licensed.
- Education Required: Master’s or Doctorate degree in psychology, social work, counseling or other related field.

- Stand or sit for prolonged periods of time, while working on a computer monitor
- Hear, speak and listen to provide information by phone or in-person
- Ability to lift 15lbs.
- Possess dexterity of hands and fingers to operate assigned equipment

Pay/Schedule:*
- $55 per hour: 2+ years experience providing clinical supervision in a school-based setting.
- $50 per hour: 0-23 months experience of clinical supervision in a school-based setting.
- Up to 30 hours per week
