Mentor To Guide Stem/Professional Projects With Teens

Role of Volunteer Mentors to guide professional projects with high school or undergraduate students:

1. Guide students through the process of identifying, designing, planning, and executing meaningful professional projects that align with their interests and career aspirations.
2. Share industry knowledge, provide professional contacts, and offer practical advice to help students successfully complete projects that demonstrate their skills and abilities to prospective employers or higher education institutes.
3. Motivate and encourage students through regular check-ins and communications. Provide constructive feedback to help improve project outcomes. Serve as a role model and coach to help students build confidence and develop professional skills.

The key responsibilities would be to leverage one's own professional experience to help students gain practical and hands-on learning through well-defined projects that stretch their capabilities. Mentors should aim to inspire students' professional growth while also building soft skills like communication, collaboration, time management, and resilience. The role requires a commitment to volunteer time, maintaining consistent engagement, and being a patient and Understanding advisor.

Eligibility Criteria:

If you are a professional who has passion and the ability to impact the young generation of Scholars having-

• Completed a master's or doctoral program at an accredited university with excellent grades, conference presentations, research publications, etc. demonstrating high scholarly aptitude.
• Strong record of professional achievement aligned with the organization's mission and areas of focus.
• Received a merit-based scholarship during undergraduate study based on academic excellence, leadership qualities, community service, etc.
