Civil Engineering Technician

We are currently experiencing rapid growth in the company and are seeking an experienced individual for a Civil Engineering Technician position.

Job Requirements/ Qualifications:

• Familiarity with both Civil & Structural design
• Ability to multi-task and work on several projects at the same time
• Applying for and acquiring permit approval through various municipalities
• Experience with Microstation or AutoCAD a must
• Meeting with owner’s representatives in regard to easement, right-of-way, and constructability concerns.
• Experience with basic MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Must be competent producing Plan and Profile Drawings
• Knowledge of electrical/ Communication concepts and design a plus
• Knowledge of survey methods and terminology, and various types of construction site layout design
• Frequent site visits before, during, and after construction to assure any and all value engineering is built into each project.
