Job Description

Future State University (FSU) is an innovative EdTech startup on a mission to revolutionize the education industry. We are seeking a talented and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our core startup team, working directly with the CEO and Chief Product Officer. As the CTO, you will play a critical role in shaping our product design, defining the technical architecture, and fostering a collaborative team culture.


Responsibilities:

  • Implement best practices for software development, quality assurance, and security.
  • Lead and manage a team of developers, overseeing all aspects of technology development and operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, ensuring FSU remains at the forefront of technological innovation.
  • Drive the development of our Web3D platform, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver immersive and engaging learning experiences.
  • Define the overall technology strategy and roadmap to drive FSU's growth and success.


Qualifications:

  • Experience with Three.js, WebGL, and WebXR frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
  • Strong technical background in web development and Web3D technologies.
  • Understanding of frameworks such as Xcode, SwiftUI, RealityKit, and ARKit as well Unity.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving innovation and delivering successful technology solutions.
  • Proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, HTML5, and WebGL.
  • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and scalability.
  • Scrum master experience preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role in a technology-driven organization.
