Chief Of Strategy And Board Engagement

We're looking for a Chief of Strategy and Board Engagement to join our team at Safe Horizon!

We work with survivors of all forms of violence, including racism, to move from crisis to confidence. Each year we touch the lives of more than 250,000 New Yorkers. We believe our clients are experts in their own lives and collaborate with each client in addressing risks, needs, and concerns that are most important to that individual.

As Chief of Strategy and Board Engagement, you will advise and support the CEO in developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic initiatives that align with our vision, mission, values, and goals. You will also build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including public officials, community stakeholders, and other partners. You will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the Executive Team to coordinate and plan for all aspects of the Board of Directors' operations.

Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a non-profit or government environment. They should have proven leadership in a multicultural environment where open dialogue about racism and other forms of oppression is fostered. If this describes you, we would love to hear from you!
