Job Description
Overview:

Audacy, one of the nation’s most influential audio content and entertainment company's, is hiring a Chief of Staff (COS) to partner with our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to make the strategic choices and daily operating decisions that go into building a high growth company.

Our CRO leads all aspects of revenue generation across corporate, national, regional and local levels; developing fully integrated, multiplatform sales solutions and breakthrough strategies to attract new revenue streams.

We are experimenting quickly to promote this transformation and as a result, we are in a state of constant change. The Chief of Staff is important to our success, as we manage the change, support our team in delivering on goals, and adapt our operations.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:

  • Analytics: As trusted counsel to senior leaders, provide analysis on our operations and represent executives in certain meetings. Partner with other departments relevant to the team, including Finance, HR, Content & Marketing
  • Strategic Planning: Plan strategy and planning cycles, connecting different points of view to help leadership and product teams plan with the best possible business context.
    • This includes timeline development, supporting teams to complete associated deliverables, and working collaboratively to prepare presentations.
    • Lead successful Meetings for the Executive team and broader organization. This can include formulating agendas, guiding and facilitating the discussion, bringing together notes and action items, and following up. Frame problems and propose structures/models that help people better understand the problem and trade-offs
  • Communication: Draft team content, including email, slack and web. Develop presentation content for yourself and executives. Promote a spirit of collaboration and open communications.
  • Maintain the CRO's calendar and handle the scheduling of appointments
  • Lead successful Meetings for the Executive team and broader organization. This can include formulating agendas, guiding and facilitating the discussion, bringing together notes and action items, and following up. Frame problems and propose structures/models that help people better understand the problem and trade-offs
  • Project Management: Lead special projects. Some projects will span beyond the scope of the group, requiring cross-company collaboration
  • This includes timeline development, supporting teams to complete associated deliverables, and working collaboratively to prepare presentations.
  • Make travel arrangements, prepare expense reports, and manage the 345 11th Floor Operations
  • Handle necessary arrangements for meetings such as preparing presentations, reserving conference rooms, and coordinating catering.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels including executive leadership team, peers, managers and junior staff
  • Expertise leading complex projects across teams or organizations

  • Structured and organized persona that follows up and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks
  • "Allrounder", able to step in as "acting" when needed for colleagues on leave

  • Comfortable navigating in a growing and changing organization, identifying and engaging with teams and individuals
  • On Site at our 345 Audacy NYC Office 3 Days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays)
  • Proficient in Google Suite, SalesForce CRM, Excel & Powerpoint
  • Highest level of ability to manage confidential information

Pay Transparecy:

The anticipated salary range for New York City-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $85,000/yr to $115,000/yr.

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
