Job Description

Junior Chief of Staff

Our client is seeking a Junior Chief of Staff to support the work of their Chief Executive Officer and leadership team in their office, in New York City.

The Junior Chief of Staff will be a key extension of the CEO and be a self-starter with exceptional communication skills, the ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and a strong sense of professionalism. The Junior Chief of Staff will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of executive operations and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Basic Requirements

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional and polished demeanor
  • Discretion and understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Entrepreneurial Management; broad experience in cross-team functionality and project management a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in people operations strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and executing standardized business processes

Responsibilities

  • Take on leadership of individual projects and initiatives, at the direction of the CEO, ranging from new products & features to improvements or examinations of existing tools & processes
  • Represent the executives and the organization with a positive and courteous demeanor in all interactions
  • Provide a point of contact and be connective tissue across the multitude of teams growing within the org
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and data entry & analysis
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Be an exceptional teammate and partner to colleagues across departments

· Handle general administrative duties such as ordering supplies, managing office equipment, and coordinating office maintenance

Work Environment

  • Salary range is $70,000 – $80,000
  • Monday – Friday work schedule, in office
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
