We are now hiring Bakers at your Shoppes at Eagle Point Publix, 1265 Interstate Dr Ste 111, Cookeville, TN 38501.

• Reads and understands recipes and
• Maintains Publix's high standards for product freshness and sanitation
• Assists customers and delivers premier customer service
• Responds to customers’ questions and provides them with information needed to make product-related decisions
• Dynamically sells product
• Trains other associates as needed
• Operates bakery department equipment
• Assists in other duties as assigned
• Prepares baked goods and doughnuts, many from scratch recipes
• Loads and unloads large baking ovens

Requirements:

• Experience as a Publix Decorator Apprentice or equivalent experience outside of Publix.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of decorating.
• Ability to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service.
• Ability to interpret and follow instructions and solve problems.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple math problems.
