This role is responsible for supporting the Aruba WW Partner Operations as a Channel Operations Manager on a variety of operationally focused projects. This role will work closely with the regional channel teams and sales operations to understand and document processes end-to-end.

How You'll Make your Mark as a Channel Operations Manager


Defines, manages, and evaluates business plans to ensure they are operationally executable against defined strategic goals. Collaboratively partners with cross-functional teams to develop short-term (typically less than two years) business plans and support data-focused models. Prepares comprehensive implementation tactics, including execution plans, resource allocation plans, follow-up guidelines, assessment, and process accountabilities. Ensures that business activities are aligned with stated plans among different stakeholders. Sets business metrics, evaluates actual performance, and makes recommendations to business managers on performance target achievement. Develops data-focused analyses to optimize resources and ensure that business plans can be translated into financial value.

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert on the team. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Works together, advises and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant personal judgment to find best methods for accomplishing work and achieving goals. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.


Responsibilities


  • Runs complex data and business analyses to develop business plans, and identifies recommendations and insights.
  • Works on their own to construct highly complex statistical and financial models to forecast business performance; coaches others on model development.
  • Contributes to priority projects by adding creative insights and developing recommendations.
  • Manages complex, time- sensitive market research projects and prepares synthesized intelligence reports with clear implications.
  • Identifies cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business choices.
  • Develops go-forward business plan recommendations based on potential risks and returns.
  • Establishes the metrics required to measure business performance, and develops the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps.
  • Works together collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the entire span of business planning activities.
  • Partners with business managers to develop business plans and proactively identify new opportunities.


Education And Experience Required


  • Typically 6-10 years work experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area. Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent.


Knowledge And Skills


  • Extensive knowledge of research methodology for key business issues.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems using Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Ability to leverage new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to business analysis.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.
  • Very strong project management skills, including overseeing and managing large, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to identify emerging trends from market and industry data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
  • Developed leadership skills, including team-building, conflict resolution, and management.
  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $83,500.00 - $192,100.00
