Job Description

Perimeter 81 is looking for an experienced and tech-savvy Channel Partner Manager to join our rapidly expanding, venture-backed startup. This position can be either remote or in person at our Los Angels’ office.

The Channel Partner Manager will help grow our channel business by signing, enabling and managing partners in the West coast & Central region. Partner targets include, but are not limited to, MSPs, MSSPs, SIs, and VARs.

Reporting to the VP Channel Sales, the Channel Partner Manager (CPM) will be responsible for maximizing partner adoption and ensuring the expansion of Perimeter 81’s services through MSP and resale channels. As the CPM, you will act as a trusted advisor and guide partners through their Secure Network as a Service journey while accelerating partner revenue via enablement, support and program execution.

About You: You have a demonstrated track record of winning, maintaining, and expanding relationships with MSPs and MSSPs. You’re experienced in SaaS and/or Network/Cybersecurity and you’re ready to take your career to the next level by joining a fast-growing, security technology leader. You’ll be part of a dynamic channel sales team that will drive the next phase of tremendous growth for Perimeter 81.

  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners and share best practices and areas of improvement
  • Support the partners’ Perimeter 81 sales and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with partners to identify new business opportunities for revenue generation
  • Build a positive working relationship with partners to ensure smooth partner execution
  • Educate partners on the product portfolio and complimentary services offerings
  • Manage partner sales pipeline and accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales revenue with all partners
  • Develop and maintain a high level of fluency in Perimeter 81 functionality and acquire the ability to demonstrate feature/function in an engaging manner to both technical and business audiences
  • Manage new and existing channel partners to increase sales
  • Meet or exceed quota by signing, enabling and growing top channel partner targets in an assigned territory in West coast & Central region
  • Work with each partner to realize value adoption of our solution and to ensure positive business outcomes for our common customers

Requirements

  • Technological mindset – able to have a technological discussion with IT managers and senior stakeholders, as well as high-level technical meetings
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • 5+ years experience as a Channel Manager, preferably working in the SaaS or cybersecurity sector
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical messages in a clear and simple way
  • Proven ability to develop and cultivate lasting partner relationships
  • Proven experience meeting and exceeding sales quotas and accurately forecasting the business
  • Track record of collaborating and demonstrated success in sales organizations that foster teamwork
  • BA/BS Degree
  • Demonstrated success selling to and supporting an indirect channel or partner-based sales program
