Cerner Service Desk Agents Remote

Now seeking well-rounded Cerner Service Desk Agents with IT knowledge and experience assisting/supporting end users with Cerner application issues and non-Cerner software/hardware troubleshooting (such as mapping printers, network connectivity, etc.) for a long-term, full-time, remote engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Understand client's latest configurations and changes to Cerner modules
• Receive, analyze, and process support requests submitted by end users, like master files and category list modifications, smart lists, text, note support, etc.
• Provide daily Tier 1 support to end users on a variety of application issues, escalating to support teams as necessary
• Identify, research, and resolve Cerner application issues
• Respond to end-user questions or issues regarding clinical aspects of Cerner applications, such as workflow issues, application errors, user access, etc.
• Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution
• Answer and manage calls from end users

Qualifications:

• Prior experience supporting a hospital, health system or health center is required
• Requires excellent written and oral communication skills
• 2 years' experience in Cerner end-user support role, service desk or experience using Cerner in a clinical setting for 5+ years
• Must be well versed in Cerner
• Prior experience working tickets and day-to-day help desk functions preferred
• High-speed internet required
• Excellent multi-tasking skills required
• Quiet home office environment
• Must have strong customer service skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
