We are looking for candidate that can provide analytical, strategic and operational thought leadership to a rapidly growing business. This role requires someone who is highly organized, communicates well and can work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Providing analytical support to the Business Development and broader management teams
- Working with Legal and Compliance to develop and implement a control framework
- Driving the priorities of the business through strategic initiatives and everyday solutions
- Project Management related to New Business Initiatives
- As an Operations lead, drive technology initiatives and enhancements to implement tools and infrastructure projects that prepare the business to meet industry / regulatory / internal efficiency needs
- Overseeing enhancements to the business' technology infrastructure
- Oversee internal audits, compliance testing and regulatory inquiries with internal partners.
- Deploying operational/procedural improvements
- Manage several vendor contracts and vet potential new vendors
Experience requirements
- Leadership: Low ego, able to guide team with empathy and willingness to invest in others and desire to grow together. Leads with the mindset that a win for an individual is a win for the team
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area.
- Partnerships: Strongrelationship building skills. Attentive listener who synthesizes various points of view. Demonstrated ability to drive results across multiple stakeholders
- Project work: Enjoys an end-to-end project from conceptualization to hands-on execution. Track record of managing projects to completion while managing multiple deadlines in a dynamic, high-volume and fast-paced environment.
- Technical skill: Strong in Excel (able to distill large datasets into compact messages) and PowerPoint (skilled with visually presenting those messages). Experience with dashboards (designing, using, enhancing) a plus
- Problem solving: Intuitive thinker focused on asking the right questions to innovate and improve the status quo
- Background: 1-2 years of Operations or Business Management experience working on new business initiatives focused on legal, compliance and regulatory framework
- Content development: Experienced in delivering timely, high-quality presentations and reporting. Attentive to detail coupled with continuous focus on consumption-friendly design
- Communication: Strong executive-level communication skills. Able to flex style to various audiences. Communicates in a knowledgeable and clear manner. Produces crisp written communications and knows how to frame messages for different audiences
