Job Description
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying, establishing, and maintaining sales opportunities to include account management and end user relationships with agencies within an assigned market and vertical unit at the Headquarter and programmatic levels. The BDR position is responsible for interacting with customers daily both from in person visits as well as through other communication methods. Primarily this is accomplished by fulfilling our customers’ requirements through order placement, price quoting, product specifications, and general customer questions as well as directly supporting both market and channel sales staff. The BDR must possess the ability to multi-task and use professional time management skills to complete all tasks on or before schedule. The BDR must present a professional appearance, demeanor, and positive, can-do attitude.


Requirements


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS


  • Ability to obtain security clearance
  • Ability to carry out skillful negotiations.
  • Ability to complete work within required deadlines.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Experience working with Department of Defense, Military, Federal Agencies, Law Enforcement, and commercial private sector.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures
  • Established understanding of Government Sales and Federal Contracting


Education And Experience


Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of sales experience, or five years of industry experience in lieu of education. Vertical unit experience preferred.

Epicor – Required Within Certain Calibration With Other Market Segments
