The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting for a hospitality focused Billing & Payroll Coordiantor to join our Finance team! This role will work closely with the Finance Director to process the bi-weekly payroll and monthly independent living resident billing.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Billing & Payroll Coordinator:

  • Coordinates health center billing with LCS Reliance, as the main point of contact. Helps manage health center census. Uploads Reliance information to shared website.
  • Assists Finance Director in month end process and financial statement preparation for areas related to billing.
  • Performs independent living billing monthly. Enters cash receipts and member charges; processes member statements; print and sorts statements; assists in delivering statements to members.
  • Assists Finance Director and Health Center Administrator with administrative record keeping and general clerical duties for maintenance of member records or accounting tasks.
  • Responsible for processing and auditing bi-weekly payroll.
  • Answers and resolves member concerns regarding their statements.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with agility and flexibility.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business with finance or accounting focus.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and other business software such as Oracle HCM Cloud, or similar applications preferred.
  • 1-2 years experience in full-cycle payroll and billing/accounts receivable experience, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience a plus.
  • Must use independent judgment to perform specialized tasks in billing and A/R.
  • Must be well-organized and be detail oriented. Attention to detail is extremely important as well as maintaining confidentiality of information.

Pay Range $25.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience.
