Job Summary/Company:
A medical firm has partnered with Sparks Group to hire a Benefits & Payroll Administrator to join the HR team. In addition to the payroll, this person will be responsible for managing the administration of the entire company’s benefits program, including health, dental, vision, life, retirement, worker’s compensation, disability, FMLA, COBRA, and unemployment insurance.

Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties as assigned under the direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer.
- Act as primary contact with prospective vendors and brokers regarding configuring the initial benefits package and connections for presentation to executives for negotiation and final approvals.
- Entering Bi-Weekly payroll processing, requesting, coordinating, reviewing, and data entry of all timekeeping or payroll adjustments in ADP.
- Creation of various reports in Excel for financial statements, forecasts, Grant allocations, and Grant Funding reassignments as requested.
Qualifications/Background profile:
- Attention to detail and accuracy are vital.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations impacting employee benefit programs is critical.
- Must have experience in ADP.
- The ideal candidate will possess an associate’s degree or higher in a relevant field; equivalent experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.
- Must be dependable and adaptable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Targeting candidates with 5 – 10 years of relevant experience for 100+ staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR (or related field) and/or PHR are preferred.
