Job Description

Job Summary:


The Zenith Product Owner leadership role resides within the US Operations department and is key to the implementation and support of the global Single Risk Client Data on-boarding system. The position communicates the product vision, manages the product backlog, and is the liaison between the Local Office stakeholders and the development team.

Product Ownership & Leadership

  • Ensures that the product roadmap features are translated into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
  • Manages and prioritizes the product backlog.
  • Provides leadership and training to local offices and Zenith project team to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Leads the creation and evolution of the product vision based on L&H single risk client data strategies and local business needs.
  • Drives initiatives forward, escalates issues as appropriate, and presents options for management.
  • Develops and maintains a product roadmap.

Client Leadership & Communication

  • Key contact working with the Local Offices to understand their business and challenging client situations to help them implement into Zenith appropriately.
  • Establishes and steers a Zenith user group across the international local offices to maximize enhancements to the product while balancing costs to align with Hannover’s lean operating model strategy.
  • Provides guidance, best practices and solutions specific to Zenith as well as business processes related to data on-boarding.
  • Builds relationships with stakeholders across multiple functional areas including with corresponding Steering Committees and associated Single Risk initiatives.
  • Keeps customers and stakeholders informed of the status of the product communicating delivered features and providing demos of the solution’s capabilities.
  • Acts as the main point of contact between teams and stakeholders ensuring product and performance requirements, issues, and future needs are appropriately understood.

Essential knowledge skills and abilities: Education, certifications, licensure, industry-specific experience, and experience working with certain equipment or systems, and skill proficiency levels that are required for job eligibility.


  • Project management and/or business analysis experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with various levels of

  • Clear understanding of user experience possessing a ‘client-centric’ mindset across international cultures

  • Working knowledge of SQL, data mapping tools and database concepts
  • Proven ability to scope and size projects, provide subject matter direction, and manage product road maps

Travel: Percentage of travel time expected for the position, where the travel occurs, and whether the travel is overnight.

Total Compensation Range: $75,400 - $102,100 (inclusive of Base and Bonus).
